This quiet and receptive space located at 739 Blue Street, Fayetteville, NC, occupying the statue of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will become a more powerful representation of the importance of nonviolence ideologies. In additional, it will become an emotionally evocative park, reflecting the spirit of the message Dr. King delivered and the role he and others like him play in our society. The mission remains that of constructing the FCCMLK Memorial Park and upon visitation “no one shall enter and leave unchanged.”
